Key Lime Pie (or tarts)

A few people have asked for my key lime recipe from the Garden Tea Party Shower.  So, here it is:

Ingredients:
`8 oz tub Cool Whip
`1/2 c lime juice ( I use the bottled key lime juice usually)
`1 can sweetened condensed milk
`zest of one lime
`green food coloring if you want it to look more green ( I didn't use it here)

Directions:  Mix all together, fill pie shell, chill.  Garnish with real whipped cream, lime slices, or meringue.

In this picture I put the filling in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip and piped it into these little tart shells we got in the baking aisle at the grocery store.  You could do this in a prepared graham cracker crust, puff pastry shells, an actual pastry shell.  To be honest, it is sooo yummy to dip fruit in and especially to dip shortbread cookies in!!!  Enjoy!
