Introducing: Create With Me- Every Month @ ReMarkableHome.net

To Join The Fun:  Join Our Facebook Group HERE.

If you’re like me, you’ve found oodles of amazing ideas online.  You’ve pinned them to your Pinterest boards with the intention of doing them someday.  But, somehow, SOMEDAY never seems to arrive. I also always wish I had a group of friends to craft with but I’ve just never gotten around to putting one together.

I woke up early this morning with a brilliant idea to get my readers (friends) and myself creating on a regular basis! Introducing…

You're Invited To Create With Me Every Month @ ReMarkableHome.net

We are all going to create “together”!  Doesn’t that sound fun?? Every month I will announce the inspiration piece that will be our jumping off point for our creation.  You will have until the 25th of the month to get it done and share your project.  I will feature a few of my favorites at the beginning of the next month.

We will need a way to share our projects with each other.  To do this I have created a Facebook group.  It is an open group so I believe anyone can join!  You can find the group page HERE.  Please let me know if you can’t join the group.

Ok, here is our project for March!

I came across this super cute, super simple craft over at Sweet and Lovely Crafts that I think will be a great inspiration piece for us.

Isn’t it so cute and fun?? I just love it and it has so many possibilities.  So, the main idea is to create 3 dimensional art on a canvas for St. Patrick’s Day.  You can buy a canvas in your preferred size at any craft store.  Use a 40% off coupon…you can find them all over the internet.  If you want to keep your costs down or just be green, paint an old piece of wood you have lying around or use a piece of foam core board that you can buy at the Dollar Store!

Get creative!  Or, if you aren’t the creative type just go ahead and copy this one exactly.  You could do different dimensions of canvas…taller and thinner, shorter and fatter.  Think about where you might want to display it and do something that fits.  This one used tissue paper for the shamrock, but you could use anything…pom poms, buttons, pipe cleaners, wrapping paper….the sky’s the limit! Don’t limit yourself to just paint for the background either…think washi tape, glitter, puffy paint…endless possibilities!

Please leave me a comment if you want to participate and let me know any ideas you have for sharing our projects at the end of the month.

Also, I’ve had to disallow anonymous comments due to the extremely high number of spam comments I get.  So, I apologize to my anonymous readers!  I hope you can figure out a way to comment still because I love to hear from you!

  1. Love the idea!! I just pulled out my St. Patrick's day stuff yesterday and I'm not sure I want another one... Haha. But I'm going to try and do a 3D canvas art for Easter. (It's in March anyways this year, right?) Thanks for the fun!!

    1. Great idea! It doesn't have to be St. Patty's day. I saw one that was Valentine's day that was cute. It could really be anything! Thanks for participating! I think this will be alot of fun! Spread the word:)
