CREATIVE SANDWICHES {Back to School}

Are you a bad mom if you make your elementary kids make their own lunches??  Please say “No”.  Because I kinda feel like the answer is “Yes”, and I make my kids make their own lunches most of the time.  Well, I am vowing to be a better mom this school year and make my kids healthy and fun lunches.  I have been seeing some super cute sandwich ideas on Pinterest.  I thought you might like to see some of them.  Hopefully this will inspire you!

There are only about a million more cute ideas on Pinterest for making your kids lunches fun.

For those who are not using Pinterest yet, I don’t recommend it.  It is highly addicting, you will find more ideas of things you want to do than you ever thought possible, and you will get fat because you will make too many amazingly delicious recipes.  But, if you are the type that just HAS to learn the hard way, you can find my Pinterest button on my side barSmile

  4. My Mom made us make our own lunches. Sometimes I would get really envious of the kids whose Mom's tenderly handcrafted their lunches. My Mom told me she was raising independent children.

    She was right. Those kids who had elaborate lunches? Most of them lived at home far too long, and to this day still have their Mommas do their laundry. :)

  5. We always made our own lunches, and I was happy with that because I got to make exactly what I wanted. If my mom had made it, I would have had to eat what she chose for me. Of course, I made sandwiches for my kids lunches for about 10 years before I finally decided they were old enough to make their own. They have been complaining about it ever since and one even went on a hunger strike where he refused to eat breakfast or lunch if I wouldn't make him a sandwich. That showed me!
